If you’re a blogger you’re probably busy working on your craft and might not actually be up with all the lingo in the affiliate marketing world. And goodness knows we have a fair bit of indecipherable jargon to get your head around!
One of those things that many people don’t understand is the “redirect type”.
When you cloak your affiliate link with a tool like ours what you’re actually doing is creating a page on your website that points somewhere else. This is called a redirect.
There are a few different types of redirects and they’re given code numbers:
- 301 Redirecionamento
- 302 Redirecionamento
- 307 Redirecionamento

Redirecionamentos 301
This says to the visitor’s browser this page has now moved to another place permanently.
The visitor’s browser will remember that this page has been moved (until the cache is cleared) so that the next time they click on it, it’s going to be faster.
302 Redirecionamentos
This says we’re sending traffic to another place but not sure why. It’s a temporary redirect type but depending on your server setup some browsers might actually remember it (again, until the cache is cleared) because there are some other request headers and stuff that can be sent along with it which say whether that redirect actually expires or not (even though its temporary… confusing, I know).
In any case, it just pays to remember a 302 redirect MAY be remembered by the visitor’s browser.
307 Redirecionamentos
The last redirect type that ThirstyAffiliates supports is a 307 redirect. This is a temporary redirect and that says to the visitor’s browser that the page is temporarily being routed to this other place instead.
307’s are NOT remembered by the visitor’s browser so each time they click the link, it will check with your server to see if that is still where it should be sending the person.

It’s faster – because it is cached by the browser after the first click – and as you may know, the speed of service is everything in the online world.
Por outro lado, se você espera que seus links mudem com bastante frequência, um redirecionamento 302 ou 307 pode ser mais apropriado.

Estou confuso quanto ao uso do thirsty affiliate em meu site de afiliados da Amazon. Como fazer isso? Minha conta da Amazon será banida? Por favor, pode me dar detalhes? Eu queria comprar, mas um amigo meu me disse para não comprar, pois posso ser banido da Amazon por causa desse plug-in.

A partir da versão 3, o ThirstyAffiliate oferece suporte a "Uncloaking", o que significa que é o único cloaker de links no mercado que é compatível com o programa de associados da Amazon. A Amazon quer ver que o link em sua página é um link direto e bruto para o site da empresa, e não por meio de um redirecionamento. O ThirstyAffiliates pode facilitar isso.

Acho que, independentemente de ser 301, 302 ou 307, não importa, desde que o diretório de afiliados esteja sendo bloqueado pelo robots.txt
Tenho todos os URLs de afiliados como 302 e não os autorizei pelo robots.txt
Olá, estou tendo alguns problemas de conflito com os redirecionamentos 302 do Thirsty Affiliates e alguns plug-ins do construtor de páginas. Existe alguma maneira de limpar o cache do plug-in Thirty Affiliate? Obrigado.
Os links 301/302 podem ser armazenados em cache por seu navegador. Certifique-se sempre de testar o link em uma janela de navegação anônima/privada.
Ainda não tenho certeza sobre qual usar. Muitas pessoas desaconselham o uso do 301.
O plug-in adiciona automaticamente a tag noindex também a esses links?
Além disso, preciso adicionar o "/recommended/" à lista de não permitidos no robots.txt?
Vi a adição automática de noindex e nofollow ao link em algum outro plug-in, mas não tenho certeza sobre o plug-in thirstyaffiliates.
